Privacy policy

1. Data controller

SIGRECRUT is operated by Mahamadou Dramé, in Bamako, Mali, under the African Digital Solutions Mali trade name, a company currently being incorporated.

2. Data collected

Depending on how the platform is used, SIGRECRUT may process account identifiers, names, contact information, professional profiles, CVs, diplomas, identity documents voluntarily uploaded, applications, assessments, interview information, professional references, notifications and audit records.

3. Purposes

• Create and secure candidate and recruiter accounts.
• Manage job applications and recruitment processes.
• Match candidates with job opportunities and send requested alerts.
• Prevent fraud, investigate incidents and ensure traceability.
• Produce pseudonymous audience and job-interest statistics when consent is granted.

4. Recipients

Data is accessible only to authorized SIGRECRUT personnel and to authorized recruiters involved in the relevant recruitment process, according to their roles and organization.

5. Technical providers

The service is hosted on Hetzner infrastructure. Transactional e-mail is handled through DreamHost. These providers process only the data technically necessary to provide their services.

6. Audience statistics

When authorized, an HMAC pseudonymous fingerprint is generated from the IP address and browser identifier. The raw IP address is not stored in the SIGRECRUT database. Visited paths, page-view counts and job-view or application-click events may be recorded.

7. Retention

Account and profile information is retained while the account is active and for the time needed to process deletion requests, disputes, security incidents or applicable legal obligations. Recruitment organizations are responsible for defining the retention period of the applications they manage. Candidatees may request deletion when no overriding legal obligation requires retention.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, updating, objection, restriction or deletion of your personal data by writing to the privacy contact. Identity verification may be requested before fulfilling a request.

9. Security

SIGRECRUT uses HTTPS, secure cookies, role-based access control, organization-level isolation, audit logging, backups and restricted access to uploaded documents. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Complaints and updates

You may contact the competent Malian data-protection authority. This policy may be updated when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The publication date and version will be updated.
