Do not automatically send the same CV to every organization.
Identify the vacancy’s important terms: skills, software, sectors, languages and responsibilities. Use them only when they accurately reflect your experience.
Place a professional title matching the target role at the top. Add a three-to-five-line summary presenting your specialty, experience and main value.
Focus on achievements. For example, replace “responsible for reports” with “produced and quality-checked 25 monthly reports covering five regions.”
Use a clear format compatible with recruitment systems: standard fonts, clear sections, limited colors, no complex tables and PDF format unless otherwise requested.
A CV should generally be no longer than two pages. Experienced candidates may use three pages when all information remains relevant.
